Wrenches, pliers, electrician knives... These are all common hardware tools for the family.
Use of wrench
Households often use open-end wrenches (also known as wrenches). It has a single head and a double head. The opening is adapted to the size of the screw head and the nut, and is made according to the standard size.
The overall wrench has a square, hexagonal, and twelve-sided shape (commonly known as a plum wrench). Among them, the plum wrench is widely used in rural electricians. It can change the direction of the rotation as long as it is rotated 30°, so it is convenient to work in a narrow place.
The socket wrench is composed of a set of plum blossom cylinders of different sizes. When used, the arcuate handle is continuously rotated, and the working efficiency is high. A ratchet wrench can be used when the size of the screw or nut is large or the working position of the wrench is very narrow. This wrench swings at a small angle and can tighten and loosen the screw or nut. Turn the handle clockwise when tightening.
A square rod is fitted with a strut. When the handle is pulled back in the opposite direction, the strut slides out of the ramp of the ratchet teeth so that the screw or nut does not follow the reversal. If you need to loosen the screw or nut, just flip the ratchet wrench and turn it counterclockwise.
The Allen key is used to attach and detach the hexagon socket head cap screws. It is often used for disassembly and assembly of certain electromechanical products.
The force wrench has a long elastic rod with a handle at one end and a square or hexagonal head at the other end. The interchangeable sleeve is fitted with a steel ball in the square or hexagonal head. A long pointer is also placed on the top. The scale plate is fixed to the handle base and has a scale value of 1 Newton (or kg/meter) per grid. Use this wrench when a certain amount of tightening force is required, or if several nuts (or screws) require the same tightening force.
The hex wrench is used to attach and detach large hex screws or nuts, and the external electrician can use it to load and unload the steel frame structure such as the iron tower.
This is a plum wrench, commonly known as an eye wrench, for attaching and detaching hex nuts or bolts. It is especially convenient to disassemble the hex nut or bolt located in a slightly concave position.
The adjustable wrench, also known as the adjustable wrench, is a tool for tightening or loosening angled screws or nuts. Electricians commonly used are 200, 250, 300mm, and should be selected according to the size of the nut.
When in use, the right hand grips the handle. The lower the hand, the more effortless it is to pull it.
When the small nut is pulled, the worm wheel needs to be constantly rotated to adjust the size of the wrench, so the hand should be held close to the lip and the worm wheel can be adjusted with the thumb to fit the size of the nut.
When the wrench of the adjustable wrench clamps the nut, the lip is on the top and the lip is on the bottom. The adjustable wrench can not be used in reverse.
When pulling the rusted nut, you can drop a few drops of kerosene or oil on the nut, so that it is twisted.
When not screwing, do not use steel pipe on the handle of the adjustable wrench to increase the torque, because it is easy to damage the active lip.
Do not use the adjustable wrench as a hammer.
Use of pliers
When the clamp is used to wrap the clamp to secure the cable, the forceps pinch the wire and wind it in a clockwise direction.
A nipper, commonly known as a needle-nosed pliers, is also one of the commonly used tools for electricians (especially internal electricians). It is mainly used to cut single-strand and multi-strand wire with thin wire diameter and to bend the single-strand wire joint and peel off the plastic insulation layer.
The method of bending the wire joint with a needle-nosed pliers is to first fold the thread head to the left and then bend it rightward in the clockwise direction.
The needle-nosed pliers are slightly modified and can be used as a stripping needle-nosed pliers. The method is: use the electric drill to drill the two holes of 0.8, 1.0mm in the front section of the cutting edge of the needle-nosed pliers, and then slightly expand it with the 1.2, 1.4mm drill bit (note: don't expand it!) These two slots have a thin edge. In this way, a needle-nosed pliers that can be cut and stripped can be changed!
Wire strippers are one of the commonly used tools for internal electricians, motor repairs, and instrumentation electricians. It is suitable for the stripping of plastic, rubber insulated wires and cable cores. The method is as follows: the thread to be peeled is placed in the cutting edge of the clamp head, and the two clamp handles are pinched by hand, and then loosened, the insulation skin is disengaged from the core wire.
Never use the pliers as a hammer.
It is not possible to cut double-stranded live wires with pliers and it will be short-circuited.
Use of electrician knife
An electrician knife is a commonly used cutting tool. Ordinary electrician knives consist of blades, blades, knives, and knives. When not in use, shrink the blade into the handle.
When cutting the wire insulation with an electrician knife, the knife can be slightly tilted up, and the rounded corner of the blade is used to resist the core. Never cut the insulation perpendicular to the wire, as this will easily cut the wire core.
The insulation on the wire should be stripped before the wire joint. When cutting with an electrician knife, do not hurt the core wire. Commonly used methods of exploitation include stage spalling and beveling.

Residential Sectional Garage Door
A typical version of an overhead garage door used in the past would have been built as a one-piece panel. The panel was mounted on each side with unequal parallelogram style hinge lifting mechanism. Newer versions of overhead garage doors are now generally built from several panels hinged together that roll along a system of tracks guided by rollers. The door is balanced by either a torsion spring system or a pair of extension springs.A remote controlled motorized mechanism for opening garage doors adds convenience, safety, and security
• Aluminum garage doors are low-cost, light, rust-proof, and feature low-maintenance. They are prone to denting because aluminum is not strong and they are energy-inefficient since aluminum is a highly conductivematerial.
• Fiberglass and vinyl garage doors are composite units, combining a steel core behind a fiberglass or vinyl skin. They have also polyurethane insulated base sections, or other type of foam insulation. These premium doors can match steel garage doors, and be a realistic imitation of wood (namely fiberglass units), but they may be more expensive than steel units.
• Steel doors have become common and are available in a variety of sizes and styles, provide strength and security, are cost-competitive, and may have optional insulating value. Extra strength is available with two or three layers of galvanized steel with a low gauge number (23-24 gauge steel panels).
• Wood garage doors offer aesthetic appeal, but they are high-maintenance and may be expensive. Low-priced wood garage doors may warp and break easily.
