4, PP-R pipe in addition to metal pipe or water connection using threaded inserts or flanges and other mechanical connection methods, the rest should be used hot melt connection, so that the pipeline integration, no leakage point.
5. The coefficient of linear expansion of the PP-R pipe is relatively large (0.15mm/m°C). Technical measures must be taken to prevent the pipe from distending deformation during the installation of the surface-mounted or non-buried pipe.
6. After the pipeline is installed, it must be pressure tested before sealing (direct burying) and covering the decorative layer (non-directly buried dark deposit). The test pressure of the cold water pipe is 1.5 times the working pressure of the system, but not less than 10 MPa; the test pressure of the hot water pipe is 2 times the working pressure, but not less than 1.5 MPa. 7. When the PP-R pipe is applied with open or non-buried pipe, the support and hanger must be installed as required.
Pressure test:
1. The cold water pipe test pressure should be 1.5 times the working pressure of the piping system. But not less than 1.0Mpa.
2. The hot water pipe test pressure should be 2.0 times the pipeline system engineering pressure, but not less than 1.5Mpa.
3. Pipeline pressure test should meet the following requirements:
(1) Hot melt connection pipes, hydrostatic test time should be carried out after 24h.
(2) Before the hydrostatic test, the pipeline shall be fixed and the joints shall be exposed.
(3) After the pipeline is filled with water, the air in the pipeline shall be drained first for watertightness inspection;
(4) The manual pump should be used for pressurization. The boost time should not be less than 10 minutes. The pressure accuracy of the instrument should not be lower than 0.01Mpa.
(5) To the specified test pressure*, stable 1h, test pressure drop shall not exceed 0.06 Mpa.
(6) Under the condition of 1.5 times the working pressure, the pressure shall be adjusted to 2H. The pressure drop shall not exceed 0.03 Mpa. At the same time, it shall be checked that no leakage may occur at the joints.
4. Pipes buried directly in the floor coverings and walls shall be tested before they are poured or plugged. After the pressure test requirements are reached, the civil works can continue construction.
Note: Within 30 minutes, two pressure compensators are allowed to make up the specified test pressure.
