How to apply pesticides to reduce the impact on natural enemies

The application of chemical pesticides is mainly to control various diseases, insects, grasses and rats that harm plants, but if improperly applied, it can kill a large number of natural enemies or migrate them elsewhere, destroying the ecological balance between natural enemies and pests. In this way, the pest will increase rapidly after the number of enemies drops sharply. In addition, some pests can be killed by their natural enemies, and the secondary pests rise to the main pests, causing greater damage to plants.
When applying pesticides, the following points should be noted to minimize the effects of pesticides on natural enemies of pests:
Timely master the occurrence of pests and natural enemies of pests and strive to achieve "four check and two determinations", that is, in the period of pest occurrence, the period of natural enemies of pests, the appropriate period of drug use; check the amount of pests, the amount of natural enemies, and control objects.
A pesticide that is selective or systemic is applied. In the control of pests such as spider mites, amino acid ester insecticides such as leaf mites and basha can be applied. These pesticides are highly toxic to pests but have no adverse effects on spiders. For the control of aphids, a systemic strong agent such as omethoate or monocrotophos may be used. The control of red spider can use dicofol plus stone sulphur mixture, which can kill eggs and kill insects. It has good control effect and is safe for natural enemies.
Choose the appropriate pesticide dosage form, concentration and application method. In general, the same pesticide, spray and dusting have a greater impact on natural enemies. If you use poisonous soil or granules, it is safer for natural enemies. For example, when controlling aphids, the omethoate spraying method is to spread the omethoate particles (poisonous or poisonous sand), which can reduce the killing of natural enemies. Applying 3% carbofuran to granules has little effect on the natural enemies of spiders. The same agent has different concentrations and has different effects on natural enemies. For example, if the application of 25% insecticide and water-repellent agent is 50 ml, the lethality to spiders is lower than 100 ml per acre; the application of 25 ml per acre of sulfur to the brown-eyed Trichogramma is not significant. In addition, the method of pesticide application is different, and the impact on natural enemies is also very different. For example, Daejeon applied medicinal spray (rough fog point) better than pouring; seeding with 3911 granules before sowing, not only has good control effect on seedling stage mites, long residual effect, but also avoids direct killing of various ladybugs and grasshoppers. Waiting for natural enemies; the tigers in the control area use bait to trap and kill, which can prolong the residual period, reduce the spread of the drug, and avoid mass killing of natural enemies.
Master the appropriate period to avoid the natural enemy and the sensitive period of application. The application time is different, and the impact on natural enemies is also different. The period of application should be properly arranged according to the appropriate period of pest control and the occurrence of natural enemies. If contradictions occur, they must be adjusted, either in advance or postponed. In order to protect the parasitic wasps, the bee's peaking period, the young peak period, the pre-caries period and the initial stage should be avoided as much as possible; the spider should avoid the hatching and proliferating period of the dominant species; Application of sputum and young frogs. Natural enemy insects generally have the strongest resistance during the flood season, and should be selected during the application period.
