Shanghai fruit growers subsidize organic fertilizers

Since 2006, Shanghai has passed the project subsidies to directly send organic fertilizers, pollution-free pesticides, and bags to the orchards, making the “hard indicators” of fruit safety production become conscious actions of fruit farmers.

From 2010 to 2012, Shanghai has subsidized more than 200 million yuan for farmers who have used pollution-free pesticides, organic fertilizers, and bags, covering 60% of the city's total orchard area. The Shanghai Forestry Department has formulated a subsidy policy for safe production of fruit products for 2013-2015 on the basis of summarizing the experiences and lessons learned in previous years. It is understood that the application of organic fertilizer fruits, fruit farmers can get 200 yuan per mu subsidies; use pollution-free pesticides, subsidy up to two-thirds of the price of pollution-free pesticides, the highest per mu 120 yuan; with special fruit bagging, per acre There is a subsidy of 100 to 150 yuan. These three items add up. According to the government's safe fruit cultivation law, they can get up to 470 yuan in subsidies.
