Yichuan County has formed six major industries of coal-electric aluminum and aluminum deep processing, five-car parts and machining, silicon and photovoltaics, abrasives, wine-based food industry and refractory materials.
In the industrial agglomeration area, there are 50 backbone and construction enterprises in the country's largest county-level thermal power generation enterprise, Yidian Group, Henan Yugang Longquan Aluminum Co., Ltd., Luoyang Longding Aluminum Co., Ltd., and 1150MW of thermal power generation capacity. With an annual output of 8.4 billion kWh, the annual output of electrolytic aluminum is 840,000 tons, and the annual processing capacity of aluminum sheet and foil is more than 1 million tons. In 2009, 30 key enterprises in the region achieved an output value of 14.03 billion yuan and a profit and tax of 1.13 billion yuan.
