The role and characteristics of organic fertilizer

Organic fertilizers include piles, manure, human and animal bird excrement and cake fertilizer. It is characterized by complete nutrients and stable fertilizer effects. However, it needs to be decomposed by microbial activities after deep application, and can be used by plants. It is a slow-acting fertilizer. The application of organic fertilizer has two major functions, one is to supply the nutrients needed for cotton, and the other is to fertilize and improve the soil. Organic fertilizer is mainly used as base fertilizer. The depth of application is 15~20 cm from the surface to ensure that the fertilizer is buried in the wet soil where cotton roots are concentrated. The application rate is determined by the fertilizer source. The cake fertilizer is 50 kg/mu, and the common manure is 2500. ~3000 kg / mu, local experience, under normal production conditions, according to the nitrogen available in the fertilizer, about 20~30% of organic fertilizer, 70~80% of chemical fertilizer.
