For cement manufacturing and stone processing enterprises that have failed to meet dust control requirements and have excessive dust concentrations by the end of May 2014, they shall be ordered to cease operations that generate dust hazards; for those that do not meet the requirements by the end of October 2014, they must submit a request to the local government. The government closed it according to law.

This is based on the inspection and inspection of 31 cement manufacturing companies and 20 stone processing companies in 6 provinces organized by the General Administration of Surveying and Testing Institutions from May to August 2013. The management foundation is very weak, the effect of dust removal facilities is poor, personnel protection equipment is not in place, personnel have not been trained for training, dust-taking personnel have not carried out occupational health inspections and other problems are widespread. Some enterprises are still using the production technology that the country has explicitly eliminated, and the dust hazard is very high. Seriously, governance cannot be delayed.”

Different processes in the two industries are different, but the dust hazard is very serious

“Despite the fact that the process of the two industries is very different, dust hazards in the workplace are very serious and must be given enough attention.” Gao Shimin stressed that “not only is the dust concentration of small and medium-sized micro enterprises exceeding the standards, but also the dust concentration of some large enterprises has exceeded the standard, only in terms of degree.
