Can you think of the relationship between solar panels and big trees? They are all common things in our lives, but it seems that few people will combine the two. According to the American "Popular Science" website on August 19, a 13-year-old teenager in the United States has taken the initiative to invent a new type of solar panel using trees, which is 50% more energy efficient than traditional panels.
Aiden Dwell, a 13-year-old boy who lives in New York, was in his first year of junior high school this year. When she went hiking in the mountains in the deep winter last year, Aidan inadvertently noticed that the distribution of tree branches was very regular and immediately concluded that the branches of the trees were arranged according to the Fibonacci sequence in mathematics. It is reported that naturalist Charles Bonner also made the same judgment in 1754.
Aidan believes that this must be related to the photosynthesis of the trees and begins to experiment boldly. First, he used a cylindrical double-inclined protractor designed and manufactured by himself to measure the spiral distribution of the branches and leaves of trees. Later, he copied this proportion into the computer program and used a PVC pipe to create a solar battery that resembles an oak.
Aidan experiments with the "oak-type" solar battery and another ordinary flat-battery battery he has made under the same conditions, and measures the amount of power generated by both. As a result, it was proved that the solar battery power generation with the shape similar to the oak is much higher than that of an ordinary solar battery. In particular, on the day of the winter solstice with the lowest solar altitude, the new battery pack generates 50% more power than traditional battery packs. Aidan believes that this is because the former's panel arrangement greatly increases the area where the battery pack receives solar energy.
It is reported that Aidan has applied for a patent for his own discovery. He is currently studying other types of trees and hopes to find ways to further increase the efficiency of solar cell power generation.

The segment assembly formwork system is a new type of non-standard mechanical equipment applied to prefabricated cantilever assembly segment beams.
Through the analysis and demonstration of segment assembly technology at home and abroad, combined with previous experience in the design, production and construction of bridge formwork, after BY1203 and BY1306, the BY1507 automatic segment box girder prefabrication system was developed and launched. The segmental assembly template includes five parts: outer mold system, bottom mold system, blocking system (fixed end mold and mobile end mold), inner mold system and bottom mold trolley. The advantages of this method are that it occupies a small area, is easy to operate, is relatively small due to terrain restrictions, is relatively convenient to arrange beam fields, and has a high utilization rate of pedestals and templates.
