I. Abstract
The study included 16 consecutive sows designed for the use of a conversion line for feeding sows based on corn, cassava, barley and soy feed, respectively containing 8.5 grams or 1 gram of sodium chloride (salt, Nacl) is a high-salt group and a low-salt group in each kilogram of feed treatment group (equivalent to 0.4% sodium or 0.1% sodium). The results show:
1. During the four weeks of sow lactation, the water content of the feed containing high salt treatment group (0.4% sodium group) was 13.9 liters, compared with 12.4 liters for the low salt application group. The former showed More water consumption.
2. 27% of the sow's drinking water during lactation becomes urine production.
3. During the whole lactation period, the difference in drinking water in the high-salt and low-salt treatment groups was 42.2 liters and the difference in urine production was 11.4 liters.
4. The sow is fed a high-salt feed treatment group, which contains a large amount of sodium and chlorine. This is compared to the low salt treatment group. However, there was no difference in the contents of potassium, magnesium, phosphorus and calcium in the urine of the two groups.
5. Determine the emulsion composition of the first, the 13th and the 27th day of lactation, which is related to the autonomous role of the salt content in the feed. In the exceptional case, the mother milk fed the high-salinity treatment group on the first day after delivery had more chlorine content.
6. Regardless of the salt content, the water content and ash content of the sow's milk will increase with the number of days of lactation.
7. The increase in milk ash content from the 13th to the 27th day of lactation is expressed by calculating the calcium and phosphorus content of the mother milk.
8. The feed contains different salt treatment groups, which does not affect the weight change of the sows and does not affect the growth performance of the pigs.
9. The sows were fed a high-salinity treatment group with an average of 6.2 days (±3.1 days) from the weaning day to the estrus period. The former showed fewer days of spacing and each treatment group included 13 sows.
10. During the lactation period of the sows, the low-salt treatment group was fed, and more sows were not successfully transplanted after weaning.
The above results showed that the lactating sows fed a low-salt treatment group showed lower water consumption, less urine production, and lower levels of sodium and chlorine in the urine. This group of sows may exhibit reproductive failure. However, these two treatment groups did not affect the weight change of the sow, the composition of the mother milk and the growth performance of the pig.
Second, the preface
In the lactation sows, the amount of water in the sows is different depending on the individual sows. It is recommended that the amount of daily drinking water for lactating sows is 15-20 liters. In the future, it will be more accurate to point out the amount of water that sows need to drink, in conjunction with the purpose of reducing wastewater treatment, especially in dense pig raising areas to reduce environmental pollution. There is a possible way to reduce the amount of pig manure and urine production, which is to limit the amount of water in the sows and limit the amount of urine produced. There is a factor that will affect the amount of water consumed by the sow, which is affected by the amount of salt in the feed. In the growing season, the pigs were fed with feed to reduce the salt content of the treatment group, which also showed a decrease in the amount of pig drinking water.
According to some research reports, pigs only have a low daily requirement for sodium, and found that they have poor growth performance and less water. It is under the treatment of 2 grams of salt per kilogram of feed. .
In the 1988 NRC Nutritional Standard, the sodium requirement was evaluated as follows: 0.1% for pigs during the growth period, 0.15% for the feed during pregnancy, and 0.2% for the feed during lactation.
All the above arguments are supported by research reports, and the authors and publishers have omitted the introduction to save space. In order to further understand the purpose, the purpose and design of this study were carried out to compare the effects of different salt content treatment groups.
