The manufacturing process of steel strands is divided into monofilament manufacturing and stranding. When making monofilaments, (cold) drawing technology can be used. According to different materials, high carbon steel wire rods, stainless steel wire rods or medium and low carbon steel wire rods can be used. If galvanizing is required, plating or hot-plating should be performed on the monofilament. In the manufacturing process of the stranded wire, a plurality of steel wires are twisted into a product by a stranding machine, and the prestressed steel stranded wire needs to be continuously stabilized after forming, and the final product is generally received on a spool or completed without a shaft.
