The tests conducted by the National Household Electrical Appliances Quality Supervision and Inspection Center found that the purification capacity of the purifiers is quite different. 21 indoor purifiers have a 6-fold difference in particulate matter purifying effect, while 12 purifiers that claim to have formaldehyde removal function have the highest formaldehyde purifying efficiency. It was 1.984 m3/(h·w), and the lowest was only 0.255 m3/(h·w).

Key parts filter need to be replaced regularly

China Consumers Association said that high prices may not work well. For example, in the purification of particulates, Shenzhen Qibin Electronics Co., Ltd. priced at 11,730 yuan has the lowest purification efficiency of the “HeathWay” air purifier (20600-3). At the same time, the purifier is also rated to remove formaldehyde and its removal efficiency is also poor. .
