It needs a layer of primer on the aluminum alloy substrate to increase the paint adhesion, and then spray the topcoat. The main three steps:
First, the preparation and conditions before spraying:
1. Weather conditions: The paint must be constructed under fine weather conditions. Construction is prohibited under conditions of rain, fog, snow, and large dust. The preferred temperature for spraying is approximately 25°C and the humidity is below 80% RH. .
2. Substrate treatment: The aluminum alloy substrate should be polished, oxidized, etc. The surface should be rust-removed and degreasing, and clean and dry without dirt. The dust should be removed from the net and filled before the paint can be sprayed. The substrate must be dry before spraying.
3. Spray gun standard: spray guns can be used with a caliber of 1.5-2.0mm. The gun pressure should be adjusted to 3-4kg/cm2. Fog amplitude adjusted to medium pressure to 3-4kg/cm
2, spray wet the workpiece surface as much as possible, spray evenly 2-3 times. Appropriate adjustment of the amount of oil, when the amount of oil is too small, the surface of the paint film is prone to particles.
4. Air Compressor: Before the construction, the air compressor and the filter should first remove water to avoid pinholes in the paint film.
Second, the primer coating:
1. After a good surface treatment effect is achieved on the surface of the aluminum alloy, (oil-free, dust-free, with a certain surface roughness), you can spray a special zinc-rich epoxy primer. The primer has good adhesion to the surface of the aluminum alloy, especially a two-component epoxy zinc yellow primer. The paint has a unique high adhesion of epoxy paint, toughness, hardness, etc. are relatively good, and supporting performance is good.
2. Mixing ratio: Primer: Primer Curing Agent: Diluent=4:1: Appropriate amount. Stir the paint for 5 minutes until uniform. With a more accurate electronic scale weighing by mixing ratio, to ensure accurate ratio. After the paint is mixed, stir it with a clean aluminum bar or iron bar until it is completely uniform. Pay attention not to mix other types of paints, solvents, etc. during construction. Be careful to keep the spraying environment clean. Use up within 2 hours after mixing. When the ambient temperature is higher than 30°C, use time after mixing should be shortened.
3. In order to obtain better results when spraying, it can be sprayed twice:
By previous spray - mist spray:
1. Viscosity - 14-16 seconds (20°)
2. Spit volume - 1/2-2/3
3. Painting pressure - 4.0-5.0 bar 4. Spray tool distance - 25-30cm
5. Standard spray - Fully open 6. Spray - Lightly and thinly spray mist on the whole, initially blending with the underlying coating. At the same time, confirm if there is any shrinkage site. If so, increase the air pressure slightly (6.5 bar) to the site and apply concentrated spray to fill the shrinkage hole.
Second Spray - Primer Spray 1. Viscosity - 14-16 seconds (20°)
2. Spit volume - 2/3-3/4
3. Painting pressure - 4.0 bar 4. Distance from spraying tool - 25-30cm
5. Standard spray - Fully open 6. Spray time - slightly faster 3. Top coat:
1. Topcoat directly selects aluminum alloy paint. The paint is composed of imported hydroxy acrylic resin, pigments, additives and so on. The paint has strong adhesion and dryness on the surface of aluminum alloy, can be dried or baked at room temperature, and has strong protective and decorative effects.
2. Spray method:
